Save the Beauty of Kathmandu

The number of new houses and buildings in Kathmandu are increasing day by day. The heights of buildings are increasing and the number of smaller houses too. The increasing rate of both height of buildings and the number of the houses are parallel. The result of this the historical wonders, historical open places, park, small and big temples etc. inside of Kathmandu Valley have loosed their historical value and historical beauty. The beauty of those historical wonders, historical open places, park, junction, small and big temples are now shade behind those giant concrete cement buildings. The name, the importance and the popularity of those persons who build those buildings are now disappearing from minds of valley livers. People are forgetting them.

The open places for children to play are also decreasing simultaneouly with the population and new building increasing rate of Kathmandu Valley. The play ground where we use to play before few years are now filled with concrete cement buildings. It is not happening with me only, it is happening with other peoples and children too. The result of this the children are loosing their physical fitness. The children are becoming homesick. Children are loosing their daily physical activities which they use to do in playground while play in ground. Increase the lack of open playground, decrease of physical fitness of children. Not only children, adults also don't have any place open to hang around, for morning walk, evening walk etc.
The increasing number of buildings is also effecting the natural water resource of Kathmandu. The taps, water wells, stone taps are drying. The place where use to be source of water is now covered with building. People are building houses over it.
